Tungsten Rainbow Warrior Jig Fly
This small jig is designed for picky trout holding in deeper water. Utilizing a mix of pearl and rainbow-colored flash and dubbing, the Rainbow Warrior was originally designed as a tailwater trout fly but has proven itself on fisheries throughout the US and around the world. This particular version is tied on a barbless jig hook, which makes it highly efficient when using Euro nymphing and tightline nymphing techniques. The Tungsten head helps this fly sink quickly and stay on the bottom longer for increased hookup rates and more success on the water. Even though it's a jig fly with a Tungsten bead, it can still be fished under an indicator or off of a dry fly as a dropper. Use this fly on the Dream Stream in Colorado, the Missouri River in Montana, and other tailwaters that have picky fish and lots of bug action.
