After years of fishing the Atlantic surf, Dave created this fly as a way to imitate anything from small silversides to large river herring. The Mushmouth is tied similarly to lots of other synthetic baitfish patterns, but it differs in that it is equipped with a flexible tail/spine that prevents fouling.
