They are great for tails on Woolly buggers and leeches and are the right choice for tying wings on flies like the Cat Eyed Boobie fly. They have a very thin stem that makes them move a ton in the water and easy to palmer with.

Uses

Patterns and Tying Techniques - Hareline Marabou Strung Blood Quills can be used to tail streamers or make realistic swimming nymph patterns like damselflies. You can also use them for wings on streamers. A small piece of marabou can also be used to make gills and thoraxes on nymphs.
