If you prefer your wool to come on the hide instead of having it combed out and consistent, then Hareline's Ram's Wool is exactly what you want. Ram's Wool is the same as Sculpin Wool, but it comes on the patch of the hide so you have the natural taper of these fibers at the ready. Both of these are great options, but if you need to add some flow and taper to your flies, then Ram's Wool makes that a bit easier since the ends aren't cut straight.
