Hareline Brass Cone Heads are quality brass conehead beads made for fly tying. They're great for streamers, Muddler Minnows, and other baitfish patterns. They're great for adding weight to patterns to get them to swim lower in the water column. Because they are shaped like cones they're good for simulating the nose of a small baitfish.

Uses: Streamers

Comparisons: Used in a similar fashion to dumbbell eyes, but while those are lashed to the hook shank with tying thread, coneheads are simply slid onto the hook shank. They also have slight differences in the ways they make flies ride underwater.
